Payments
Peso payments (Bre-B and SPEI)
Get paid in Colombian pesos (Bre-B) and Mexican pesos (SPEI) through TuCapi's local account, from your payment links.
How it works
- 1In the dashboard, open Accounts and turn the currency on (only the business owner can).
- 2Your new payment links offer it in the checkout: Colombian pesos (Bre-B) or Mexican pesos (SPEI).
- 3Your customer picks pesos and types their name as it appears at their bank.
- 4The checkout shows them the exact amount in pesos and the transfer details.
- 5When the deposit arrives, the order moves to
paidand we send youorder.paid.
The exact amount
The local account belongs to TuCapi and several businesses share it. Each deposit is matched by the exact amount and the payer's name.
If another pending payment has the same amount, we lower it by a few pesos (never raise it) until it's unique. That's why your customer has to transfer exactly the amount they see in the checkout.
A different amount delays the payment
In the dashboard
- Accounts: turn each currency on or off and see the payments that came in, with the total collected in USD.
- Create payment link: creates a payment link with the peso method already selected.
- Links and invoices: when you create a link or an invoice, and on existing links, you can add or remove the peso methods you turned on.
